Welcome to the Gay and Lesbian Sierrans (GLS) section of the Angeles Chapter.

GLS is an official activity section of the Sierra Club and fosters the purposes of the Sierra Club by making available a wide range of events for gays, lesbians and their friends and family.

The section's newsletter, Tracks is published every two months and includes a variety of activities, including day hikes, car camps, backpacks, mule packs, bike rides, peak bags, beach walks, boat trips, and a host of other outdoor activities as well as conservation education, fund raisers, outdoor skill training, and social activities.

Sierra Club or GLS Membership is not required for participation in GLS events, but it is strongly encouraged.

The section welcomes hikers from all other sections, groups and committees to join in its activities.

Like other GLS Sections around the country; the GLS section of the Angeles Chapter holds its own unique history.
