Thirty-six hikers, including several guests and children met at Big Pine Flat Ranger Station to enjoy a day in the San Bernardino Mts. Luna was first and then in spite of the protests of the chow hounds we did Rattlesnake before lunch. White, in the afternoon heat, was a little more demanding but the new route was somewhat shorter so everyone was back at the cars by 4 p.m.
