Seven met at the Santa Ana Canyon carpool and regrouped at the Tool Box Springs roadhead. We had a nice hike up to the spring through redshank and yellow pine. Past the spring, the route goes up a road to the main ridge top road which we followed to the summit. We found the can and ate lunch there with a good view of Anza, Combs to the Eagle Crag area. It was a nice cool day. This might be a poor choice for the summer. The participants were Richard Shamberg (false summit?), Judy Ware, Marc Hasson, Bob Maxey, T. Bingo, Erich and myself.
