WORK PARTIES
|

| Work parties are held every first weekend of June and October. Interested parties are encouraged to come up and help us maintain the Hut. We meet early Saturday morning 7:30 AM, and group up to ferry supplies. Typical projects include: paint, firewood, supply transportation, landscape, spring cleaning, refuse removal, carpentry, and plumbing. In exchange for a hard days work, participants will enjoy the fine breakfast, lunch and dinner dining concoxtions of the Hut Chef. Meals, drinks, refreshments and overnight accomodations are provided for a nominal charge to participants. Work Parties a re great opportunity to become familiar with the Hut operation and become qualified as a Hut Host. |
| RESERVATIONS REQUIRED |
| Work party participants are limited to 20. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to participate in a Sierra Club outing, you will need to sign a liability waiver. Participants should bring a large pack, wear appropriate clothing and bring a sleeping bag, if planning to stay overnight. Contact Gil Estrada to be added to the email invite list. |
