WORK PARTIES

Work parties are held every first weekend of June and October. Interested parties are encouraged to come up and help us maintain the Hut. We meet early Saturday morning 7:30 AM, and group up to ferry supplies. Typical projects include: paint, firewood, supply transportation, landscape, spring cleaning, refuse removal, carpentry, and plumbing. In exchange for a hard days work, participants will enjoy the fine breakfast, lunch and dinner dining concoxtions of the Hut Chef. Meals, drinks, refreshments and overnight accomodations are provided for a nominal charge to participants. Work Parties a re great opportunity to become familiar with the Hut operation and become qualified as a Hut Host.
