Orange County students join 12th annual Kids' Adopt-A-Beach cleanup day

On May 20, 1,000 elementary students from throughout Orange County gathered to commemorate Ocean Day. After cleaning up Huntington State Beach, they took part in an aerial art exhibition. The design they formed was a call to value the earth’s natural treasures. The students from elementary schools in Orange County joined over 7,500 students throughout the state in cleaning up beaches from Humboldt County to San Diego. Earth Resource Foundation, a nonprofit organization, has hosted the Ocean Day event for four years in Orange County. For more information, visit www.earthresource.org.
