Pasadena Group to Auction Nature Photos Nov. 14

The Pasadena Group's annual Photo Auction on Saturday, November 14 will feature a variety of nature photographs up for bid, an opportunity to acquire a distinctive image for a room or a holiday gift.

The fundraiser, the climax of the Group's 19th annual photo contest and exhibition, will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm at Eaton Canyon Nature Center, 1750 N. Altadena Drive, in northeast Pasadena. Viewing of the photos, with music and refreshments, starts at 5 pm, with bidding starting at 6 pm. Proceeds from the auction benefit the Pasadena Group's conservation and membership activities.

Photos include mountains, forests, flowers, animals, lakes and streams. Five winners chosen by judges will receive prizes. The photos were on display since October 18 at the Pasadena Public Library, 285 E. Walnut St.
