NEWCOMER/MEMBER INFORMATION NIGHT - Wednesday, July 25th
Angeles Chapter, Palos Verdes-South Bay Group Newcomer/Member Information night: Come and discover the Sierra Club with the Palos Verdes-South Bay Group, LA Sierra Singles, Hundred Peak Section, Wilderness Travel Course, Mule Packs and many other Sierra Club representatives. Learn all about the Sierra Club and the many activities and adventure outings available. Table displays, exhibits, refreshments. Join Sierra Club for $15 Special Offer, and free gift. Quarterly General Meetings
General meetings are held quarterly on the 4th Wednesday of January, April, July and October. They are held at the Peninsula Center Library Community Room on the third level by the elevators. The meeting begins at 7pm with introductions, announcements, and conservation and outing news. The evening's speaker will start about 7:15pm after a short break. Meetings will end before 9pm. Refreshments are served by the group chair and the hospitality committee. These meetings feature guest speakers plus the latest information on outings, group activities, discussion of environmental issues and refreshments. Donations are requested to cover the cost of refreshments.
